Stop answering the same customer questions.

I’ll put an assistant on your website that answers from a sheet you approve, sends people to book, and passes anything tricky to you. I set it up once, then keep it current each month.

It only says what you approved.

A visitor asks about your hours, prices, or services and gets an answer in two or three sentences. If they want an appointment or a quote, the reply includes your booking link.

If the answer isn’t on your sheet, it doesn’t guess. It tells the person it’ll pass the question along, and a short form sends it to you by email.

What it could look like.

These businesses are made up, and so are their numbers. They show how the assistant would work on a real site. Yours would use your colors and your answers.

A plumber: prices and booking

A customer asks about Saturday rates and gets the price from the sheet. When they ask for a visit, the reply includes the booking link.

Example plumbing company website with the chat open. The assistant answers a question about Saturday rates with the service call price, then offers a button to book a service call.

A dentist: a question for a person

A patient asks for advice about a crown. The assistant doesn’t give any. It offers the office number and sends a message to the team.

Example dental office website with the chat open. A patient asks whether to glue a crown back on. The assistant says it can't advise on that, gives the office number, and shows a short form to send the message to the team.

A salon: policies on a phone

The same assistant works on a phone. Here it explains the cancellation policy, then offers a consultation.

Example salon website on a phone with the chat open. The assistant explains the 48-hour cancellation policy and offers a button to book a consultation.

Your Monday report

Every Monday, you get an email with how many people asked, what they asked most, and what it couldn’t answer. Anything new goes on the sheet once you approve it.

Example Monday report email: 64 conversations, 58 answered and 6 passed to the owner, with the most common questions, the questions it couldn't answer, and suggested additions to the answer sheet.

How it compares.

Most of these can answer a customer’s question. The difference is who writes the answers, checks them, and keeps them current.

A chatbot builder

Chatbase, Tidio
What it costs

Chatbase is $40 to $150 a month, plus $99 a month to remove its branding. Tidio starts at $24.17 a month, plus $32.50 a month for 50 AI conversations.

What’s left for you

Set it up, check its answers, and update it whenever your prices, hours, or policies change.

What’s different here

I write the answer sheet with you, test it, and update it every month.

A help desk AI

Intercom Fin
What it costs

$0.99 per resolved question, plus a 50-question monthly minimum or a $19-a-seat help desk.

What’s left for you

Connect or run a help desk, write the support content, and pay more as questions go up.

What’s different here

There’s no help desk to run and no charge per question.

An answering service

Smith.ai
What it costs

From $300 a month for 30 calls, then $11.50 for each extra call.

What’s left for you

Keep their script current. Real people are better for hard phone calls, and this doesn’t replace them.

What’s different here

It answers website questions at any hour and sends the tricky ones to you.

An FAQ page and contact form

What most sites have now
What it costs

Free if you write it yourself.

What’s left for you

Keep the page current, and answer the emails from people who didn’t read it.

What’s different here

People ask in their own words and get one short answer. You see what they asked every Monday.

This assistant

Set up and kept current by me
What it costs

One setup fee and one monthly fee. Ask me for a quote.

What’s left for you

Approve the answers, and reply to the questions it passes to you.

What’s different here

When something changes, you tell me and I update it.

Prices are from each company’s pricing page in November 2026 and can change. Chatbase’s price is billed monthly.

Before it talks to your customers.

A wrong price or wrong hours would cost you money and trust. These are the checks that guard against that.

You approve the answers

Your hours, services, prices, policies, and service area go on one sheet, along with the questions customers ask most. You sign off on all of it.

You check the first two weeks

For the first two weeks, you get a copy of every chat and can flag anything that’s wrong.

It says it’s a bot

It says so in its first message and any time someone asks. It never asks for card numbers, passwords, or ID numbers.

People can always reach you

Anyone can ask for a person. Complaints, refunds, and health, legal, or safety questions go straight to you.

Ask about one for your business.

Tell me what customers keep asking. I’ll write back with what it would take and what it would cost.

I read every email myself, and I’ll get back to you directly.

No solicitations. They will be deleted and addresses blocked.
